WWE Monday Night Raw, which took place last night (Aug. 29) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is in the books, which means it's time for the blitz of videos from the show.
We got Triple H breaking the news that the brand split is effectively over, before moving along the feud with Kevin Nash and CM Punk by setting up a match between the two at Night of Champions.
But wait!
Later in the show he reverses course under the direction of the Board of Directors and says Punk vs. Nash is off and instead "The Game" himself will step in at Night of Champions to face Punk.
The tag team titles were defended, Randy Orton was in action against Dolph Ziggler and a mismatched tag team main event completed the decidedly average show.
All the videos from the show, made available by WWE, are after the jump.
Triple H, Kevin Nash and CM Punk get things rolling with the COO setting up the match that no one wants to see at Night of Champions.
Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler have one hell of a match with the latter bouncing around and selling for the world heavyweight champion like his job depended on it ... which it actually could have, all things considered.
John Cena briefly addresses Alberto Del Rio, who wasn't even at the show. He gets interrupted by Smackdown guys and the mismatched main event gets set up.
Sin Cara and Jack Swagger have a match, which WWE cuts short in this video because they botched the beginning, and Hunico fails to impress, once again, on his turn under the mask.
CM Punk's match with The Miz was so average and played out in front of such a dead crowd they left most of it off. Instead, we get the end sequence with Nash coming out to deliver his jack knife powerbomb.
Tag team champions Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston, or "Air Boom," defend the belts in a rematch from last week against David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. Jerry Lawler trashes them on commentary, again, but this time they confront him after losing the match.
The mismatched tag team main event goes down in what amounts to a forgettable affair with John Cena and Sheamus teaming up against Mark Henry and Christian. Meh.
Finally, before the show ends, Triple H reveals that he, not Kevin Nash, will be taking on CM Punk at Night of Champions.
