This week's edition of WWE Smackdown was taped last night (Aug. 23) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and will air this Friday, Aug. 26, 2011.
Here's a spoiler free preview:
- Bret Hart is, indeed, involved in the show and kicks things off in the opening segment. He sets up matches for next week's live show.
- Christian vs. Daniel Bryan.
- Another big match is announced for next week's live show.
- Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase (w/Cody Rhodes).
- Kelly Kelly vs. Tamina.
- Ezekiel Jackson vs. Great Khali.
- Sin Cara vs. Heath Slater.
- Sheamus vs. Mark Henry
The post-taping dark match was a street fight between Randy Orton and Christian with Bret Hart serving as special guest referee. By all accounts, this was a fairly mediocre show.
