WWE Summerslam results: Kevin Nash returns to attack CM Punk, cost him Undisputed Championship

Wolfpac in da howse!!

In a twist that absolutely no one saw coming, Kevin Nash made his return to the WWE tonight at the conclusion of the main event of WWE SummerSlam at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

CM Punk had just defeated John Cena to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. The match, naturally, ended in controversy. Punk pinned Cena but it was not a clean victory. Cena's foot was on the ropes, meaning the pinfall should not have counted. But Triple H, the special guest referee who, surprisingly, called the entire match down the middle, did not see it and made the three count.

Punk celebrated his win while Cena said a few words to "The Game" before quickly exited stage left. It was odd to say the least that he left so quickly and his protests were so soft and unheard.

The follow up scene, Triple H congratulating Punk on his win, was equally bizarre. Was this really how the show is going to end? Really?

Nope. Not even a little bit.

After "The Game" walked up the ramp, an old member of the "Kliq" made his way out from the crowd and inexplicably attacked Punk, which would eventually cost him his title, as Alberto Del Rio came down to capitalize on a beaten Punk just a short time later.

A lot of questions are now left unanswered. Why did Nash return tonight to attack Punk? Why did he come in the way he did, through the crowd and rushing out before Triple H to get down to the ring to talk to him? Are they in cahoots?

Would love it if you Cagesiders could give tell us what the deal is. Why is this old school "Outsider" coming back to WWE to rain on the CM Punk parade? And where do we go from here?

Raw will be one hell of a show tomorrow night, that's for sure.
