Earlier this afternoon the WWE announced that Rey Mysterio would be taking on The Miz in the first match of tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw. I speculated in our post that we'd hear from Punk soon, whether it be in person or on Twitter. Sure enough, Punk took to Twitter and voiced his opinion:

As expected, CM Punk thinks the crowning of a new WWE Champion is a joke, and there's no shortage of fans who agree. It will be interesting to see if Triple H presents Punk with an ultimatum of some sort during tonight's show, as Punk holding the true WWE title is not quite a face that can be overlooked, or swept under the rug.
