WWE's Randy Orton admits to overdosing, slams Kelly Kelly in interview

Talking to 98KUPD's Real Rock radio show in Arizona to plug his upcoming DVD and some future WWE house shows.  With it removed from Orton's website, here's the direct link to the MP3 file from the radio station's podcast feed. the ever-candid WWE champion Randy Orton makes some eyebrow raising- and distinctly non-PG, remarks. Egged on by the two hosts, he makes some very unflattering remarks towards current divas champion Kelly Kelly after noting he worked a short romance angle with her in early 2009. ("I would be a method actor, and actually sleep with her," jokes host John Holmberg. "I could name a few method actors in WWE," Orton says. "Like, ten guys.") The disparaging remarks about who Kelly has or hasn't slept with continue throughout the show. Kelly has yet to directly respond to the remarks, sans a cryptic remark on Twitter which could be interpreted as a response to Orton: "The best way to fight stupidity, is by ignoring it."

Orton admits to having serious drug problems in 2006, noting he overdosed, stopped breathing and had to be rushed to the hospital. (Confirming, in part, Irv Muchnick's story in 2007 that Orton had overdosed, although Irv initially claimed it was a suicide attempt, which is clearly not the case.) Noting he was "ashamed of it for a long time" he insists that talking about it on his upcoming DVD Randy Orton: Evolution of a Predator helped a great deal.

He also noted he had "got in trouble" and "made Vince mad" for his remarks in an ESPN interview in March when he criticised The Rock and insisted Cena was a much better performer. He insists the whole thing was "blown out of proportion" and that The Rock should have personally confronted him over his remarks, instead of complaining to Vince McMahon and management.

Baby oil, Cena poop, concussions, Mark Henry's in ring prowess and being a locker room leader are the other subjects that come up in this frank, occasionally shocking, interview.

Update: Earlier today a WWE P.R person   Randy Orton made the following statement on his Twitter account:
