To the shock of, well, no-one, former WWE diva Taryn Terrell has announced on her Twitter that she and her husband, Drew McIntyre, are divorcing:
With great sadness, I announce the end of my marriage. I wish Drew only happiness and continued success.
The two had eloped last May in Las Vegas (never a good indicator of a lasting marriage, if I do say so myself), and the first signs that their were problems occured in August when Taryn was arrested in San Jose during the Summerslam festivites for assaulting, erm, Drew . She was swiftly suspended by WWE and, while cleared of all charges eventually, the incident lead to her release a few months later. Since then, she has unintentionally sabotaged Drew's career, and aired her dirty laundry in public, with some of her reckless remarks on Twitter. In fact, Drew's rapidily declining career has been attributed as much to her behaviour since leaving WWE, as it has been to his bland personality and lack of charisma. While any divorce is sad, for Drew, at least, it may turn out to be a very good career move.
