2011 WWE Supplemental Draft

Supplimental_draft_medium

Last night as I was watching RAW I was enjoying the way the draft was headed. Smackdown, a show that has been the "B" show forever was going to get some star power. Both Cena and Orton were headed to Smackdown and RAW was going to have to push some new faces. There would have been a temporary drop in ratings for RAW, but that show would be just fine. But, to my disgust, they redrafted Cena back to RAW. That was a terrible decision, in my opinion. As much as I was upset that I couldn't do the Live-Blog, I was glad I didn't have to cover that. As we know, the Supplemental draft doesn't have the same big names as the main draft, but it can be just as important. In a few minutes I will be posting here the results of today's draft. I can only pray Cena is drafted to Smackdown again or ROH.  Yeah right.

  • 1. John Cena to SmackDown
    2. Rey Mysterio to Raw
    3. Randy Orton to SmackDown
    4. Mark Henry to SmackDown
    5. Sin Cara to SmackDown
    6. Big Show to Raw
    7. Alberto Del Rio to Raw
    8. John Cena to Raw
  • With the ninth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Daniel Bryan. Daniel Is one of my favorite guys. Hopefully this is going to be good for him. I can only dream of the matches he will have there will the Smackdown roster.
  • With the tenth pick in the draft, RAW is awarded Jack Swagger. I guess this could be an indication that Cole will be his manager soon. Cole would be much better in that role that as an announcer. Jack can put on a good match so we will see what happens there.
  • With the eleventh pick in the draft, SmackDown is awarded TheGreat Khali & Ranjin Singh. It is hard for me to get excited about this pick at all. Khali rarely if ever has a big impact on things.
  • With the twelfth pick in the draft, SmackDown is awarded Jimmy Uso. I guess they are splitting the Uso's up. The Uso's have potential, but they never game them a proper intro IMO. Maybe they will do something with Jimmy. I doubt it.
  • With the thirteenth pick in the draft, RAW is awarded Kelly Kelly. This first Diva to move is Kelly Kelly. Too bad for her, Kharma is coming.
  • With the fourteenth pick in the draft, RAW is awarded JTG. I like this guy a bit. I just am so tired of the black guy singing and dancing bit. That is why I like R Truth's heel turn. doubt we even see him much on RAW though.
  • With the fifteenth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Alicia Fox. I think she is hot. I will miss seeing her on RAW. Maybe she can do something big on Friday nights.
  • With the sixteenth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded William Regal. Hmmm. I wanted a Regal vs Bryan fued. Maybe that would be possible on Smackdown. They could put some good matches.
  • With the seventeenth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Yoshi Tatsu. Don't recall him being on RAW, could be wrong though. I guess there is hope for Dolph. WWWYKI!
  • With the eighteenth pick in the draft, RAW is awarded Drew McIntyre. This could be a good move here. He can uses a new audience. I think this can be a sleeper pick.
  • With the nineteenth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Naytalia. I like her. don't see how she is called fat.
  • With the twentieth pick in the draft, RAW is awarded to Curt Hawkins.
  • With the Twenty first pick in the draft, RAW is awarded Chris Masters. I haven't watched him in a while. I guess I will be seeing more of him now.
  • With the Twenty second pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Jey Uso. So i guess they didn't break that team up.
  • With the twenty third pick in the draft, RAW is awarded Kofi Kingston. Wow this is a shocker for me. Especially this late. I like Kofi. Good pick.
  • With the Twenty fourth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Ted DiBiase. With that folks I will have to come back and finish this later. I have no idea how long this draft goes. 3 hours plus so far. I was supposed to leave an hour ago and will finish when I get back.
  • With the Twenty fifth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Tyson Kidd. I like Tyson Kidd. Didn't understand his haircut or his sudden disappearing act on RAW. I hope he get time to show what he can do.
  • With the Twenty sixth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Tamina. Will she go back with the Uso's? Or has that ship passed? Will she climb the Women's division ladder? We will see.
  • With the Twenty seventh pick in the draft, RAW is awarded Tyler Reks, I have heard about this guy a lot but haven't seen him much. It will be interesting to see if they use him and how they use him. He definitely has a look that is memorable.
  • With the Twenty eighth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Alex Riley. I am surprised by this move a little. I guess he need to be on his own before he gets "stuck" as a side kick. He does it so well though. It's time to see how he does on his own.
  • With the Twenty ninth pick in the draft, Raw is awarded Beth Phoenix. When Kharma come will this be the feud they build up to. I am happy about this move. Hopefully the Diva division is aboout to step it up.
  • With the Thirtieth pick in the draft, Smackdown is awarded Sheamus. He is the US Champion. Since Wade Barrett is the Intercontinental Champion Raw Has no mid card level belt.
  • Interesting draft. It will be interesting to see how things pan out over the next few weeks. To me it looks like the Diva's division will be a big focus or Raw. This could be a good thing. At least I hope so. Thanks for hanging in there with me guys while I had to take care of some business. The 2011 draft is in the books. I hope you guys enjoyed.
