The last 2011 Raw was a bit of a dud especially the ending. Thankfully, Smackdown is always -- well, almost always -- there to give some a couple of hours of good, non-convoluted wrestling.
Oh, and if the report is any indication, the last Smackdown of the year ends about a million times better than Kane and John Cena yammering on like a poor man's Emperor Palpatine and Luke Skywalker.
What can you expect?
Well, some fallout from Booker T's win over Cody Rhodes this past Monday for sure. Also the World Heavyweight Championship storyline between champion Daniel Bryan, The Big Show and Mark Henry continues to unfold.
And last but not least, the main event that was announced on Raw between Randy Orton and Wade Barrett goes down. Courtesy of our friends over at The Wrestling Observer, we've got all the juicy details.

Booker T kicked off the show and thanked the fans for supporting him especially after his big win this past Monday over Cody Rhodes. That brought out the Intercontinental Champion himself who ran down the Indianapolis crowd. He mockingly congratulated KING BOOKAH and said he was old and washed out. That brought out...
GOLDUST!
Cody's big brother told him that he should respect what KING BOOKAH has done over his career. Then BOOKAH butted in and said he wanted a rubber match ... next week on Smackdown ... for the title. Rhode said awight and laid out big brudda with a kick.
SOMEONE CALL RICHARD DAWSON~!
Jinder Mahal finally got one on Ted DiBiase in their "Best of 1,639" series.
Aksana was doing her thing with Teddy Long when Drew McIntyre came out. Long said that McIntyre has been sucking it up lately and he wasn't worth what they were paying him. He booked McIntyre against Ezekiel Jackson later on in the show warning the young Superstar that if he lost, he could also lose his job.
Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox defeated Natalya and Tamina. I thought Kaitlyn joined Pin Up Strong? Huh? Anyway, after the match Tamina turned on her partner and nailed a SUPA-SUPA-SUPERFLY Splash.
Huncio defeated Justin Gabriel.
The Big Show defeated David Otunga with his WMD punch. Mark Henry was cornering Mr. Jennifer Hudson and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan came out and the Hall of Pain curator went after him.
Zeke "The Freak" Jackson defeated McIntyre. After the match, McIntyre complained that Jackson pulled on his trunks to secure the pinfall and Long was all, "Playa, don't holla that at me! I can't stand losers!"
Sheamus came out and saw he was going to win the Royal Rumble which brought out Hornswaggle who said HE could win. Then Heath Slater came out and not that not only would he win the Rumble -- yeah, dude, Hornswaggle has a better chance -- but he was also the best looking redhead or whatver in the WWE. Gimme Christy Hemme any day, BAZING!
Anyway, Sheamus beat Slater.
MAH BOY D-BRY was talking to Long when Big Show came up and said he didn't need Bryan's help earlier. He was a little peeved so Long set up a match between them to headline next week's show.
And in the maaaain event of the evening ... Wade Barrett beats Randy Orton in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Wait, what? Did I just type that? Yep, it looks ike Orton finished off 2011 putting yet another young star over. Not only did he do that but he did it in awesome fashion. The match ends with Barrett throwing Orton down a flight of stairs.
Sounds awesome!
