Finally, the speculation as to when Mick Foley will return to WWE can end. That's because the Hardcore legend made his return today (Nov. 2, 2011) at a live event over in Dublin, Ireland.

This ends months of speculation that Foley would come back to the promotion he left all the way back in Sept. 2008.

Foley's role at the show was that of special guest referee. In the picture you see above, he apparently cut a promo and was confronted by Miz and R-Truth, which led to his refereeing a match later in the evening between Awesome Truth and John Cena and John Morrison. You can see a picture of that after the jump.

Outside of this appearance, there's still no word on whether or not he'll be involved in the Raw show on Nov. 14 or if he'll partake in Survivor Series on Nov. 20. Advertisements have said as much, but as we've noted before, those ultimately mean very little.

Excited that Foley is finally back in WWE where he belongs?
