The ratings are in for last night's (Oct. 27, 2011) episode of TNA Impact Wrestling and, as expected, the numbers settled back down to normal a couple weeks after Bound for Glory.

PWTorch has it:

TNA Impact on Thursday, October 27 scored a 1.14 rating, down from a 1.35 rating last week, which was the second-highest rating of the year.

...

Impact averaged 1.52 million viewers, down 25 percent from last week's 2.01 million viewers. It followed the pattern of last year's post-Bound for Glory shows when the immediate fall-out averaged 1.90 million viewers and the second week averaged 1.51 million viewers.

There isn't much to add here other than this is just more ammunition for those that feel James Storm is an undeserving champion who can't draw money.

Last night's show closed not with the heavyweight championship match, but with Ric Flair slapping around Garrett Bischoff at the behest of Eric Bischoff and setting up the long term feud between father and son that's been in the works, despite denials from the company.

Anyone think that's the angle that will get the ratings back up to last weeks levels?
