The ratings are in for WWE Smackdown from last Friday night (Oct. 21) and, not surprisingly, they held strong with the go-home show to Vengeance.

PWTorch has it:

WWE Smackdown on Friday, October 21 scored a 2.18 rating for the final hype for Vengeance, continuing a recent five-week hot streak for Smackdown.

Smackdown averaged 3.11 million viewers, which was in-line with the previous week's average of 3.17 million viewers.

Sure, this is the time of year that more and more folks are opting to stay in on Friday night's thanks to the cold weather starting to rear its ugly head but it's encouraging nonetheless that the steady pace of strong ratings hasn't been slowed one bit.

We can safely say that WWE fans have embraced Mark Henry as their world heavyweight champion.
