On paper it seemed like WWE had a tall order on their hands when it was announced that the regular time slot on the USA network for the return season of Tough Enough would be Mondays at 8/7c. Being in prime time for such a highly rated network meant that the show would have to draw ratings much higher than it previously did on MTV or what rival reality show The Ultimate Fighter typically does on Spike TV to be a success. Thankfully WWE has pulled a rabbit out of its hat if the report from Entertainment Weekly is true that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will host the show and be heavily involved in training the wannabe wrestlers. Austin's star power, together with the show being the lead in for WWE's flagship television property Raw, should guarantee that the first season will be a big hit, despite the early scepticism from the wrestling media, me included.
