I really miss Eddie Guerrero. His lie, cheat and steal gimmick was one of the most creative things to ever appear on WWE TV. When he beat Brock Lesnar for the title at No Way Out 2004, I marked out harder than I ever have. It's really a shame that he couldn't handle everything that came with being the world champion. They wanted an extended run for him and before he died it was said that they had plans to put the title back on him. Oh, what could have been. His final match was against Mr. Kennedy on the November 11th edition of Smackdown.
The smile at the 0:13 second mark personified everything about that gimmick that was so ridiculously over at that time. How could you not get into it? As great as it was then, it's just as great now. The WWE didn't give him a big push either. In fact, they were booking him to look weak in matches with Big Show when he initially started to really gain popularity. He got over with the fans solely on his own merits. Enjoy this video of Guerrero's genius in his final match.
