There really isn't much to say here. Everything that we thought would happen, happened. The crowd was chanting "UFC, UFC, UFC!!" while Toney was totally lost on the ground. That was the easiest win of Randy Couture's life. He stood with Toney for about 20 seconds before getting the takedown with no problem at all. Then he got full mount faster than anyone in the history of the Octagon. Toney didn't know how to defend at all against anything Couture was doing. He was raining down blows on Toney before getting him against the cage and raining down more blows. Before long he had put in the fight ending triangle and that's all there was to it.
In the post fight interview Couture was awarded a black belt from his corner. That was probably the best part of the whole proceedings. I gotta admit, I laughed when that happened. Toney was respectful when he talked to Rogan saying that Randy had a good fight and he would be back. At least, I think he said that. The crowd was booing very loudly and he's hard to understand if you're standing right next to him with no noise at all.
Actually, when the fight was over they showed Shaq in the crowd. He was throwing mock elbows on Glen Davis. That fake fight was more competitive than this one.
