Just three hours ago, Dixie Carter tweeted that she had a momentous announcement tonight:

TNA will make a major announcement during tonights TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV at 8ET/7CT.  We strive to deliver what our fans want, and the next step in the evolution of the TNA brand will do just that.

Dave Meltzer shortly thereafter leaked the news that this announcement is expected to be Dixie Carter publicly eating humble pie and spinning the move of TNA Impact back permanently to their old time slot on Thursday night.  This sudden time slot move was probably forced on her by Spike TV, after last Monday's worst rating in Impact's history (0.5) was easily beaten by their replay showing on Thursday night (0.7).  Hopefully TNA can regroup and come up with a new business plan, after their plan A (running head to head with WWE's Raw) backfired in spectacular fashion.
