What aired on USA from the ceremony was pretty uneventful, especially with the surprising omission of Stu Hart's induction and Bret Hart's speech. The Bob Uecker induction was actually the highlight of the show, as Dick Ebersol did a really good job presenting to his long time friend and talking about how he got to do Wrestlemania 3, plus Uecker himself was sharp and funny as expected. His speech was going along well until the most ridiculously obvious edit in WWE history took him to the end. Dick Beyer's speech before presenting the plaque to the former Betty Wagner was removed completely, as was the speech by Ted DiBiase Jr. & Brett DiBiase given before inducting their father. Betty was out led by a WWE staffer who asked her a few short questions. What aired of DiBiase's speech was fine, but nothing special. Going by the video recap of the other inductions and the report from the spyware-containing wrestling website that shall not be named, the rest of the ceremony looks a lot more interesting, with the speeches from Bret, Beyer, Stan Hansen (inducting Antonio Inoki), and Pat Patterson along with Mad Dog Vachon, plus Inoki getting the entire audience to do the "1, 2, 3, DAAAAAAAA!" chant looked like one of the best HOF ceremony moments ever. Inoki's speech itself also sounds...interesting, to say the least, since he talked about wanting to co-promote with WWE to put on a wrestling show in Antarctica(!) to raise awareness of global warming.
