According to Dave Meltzer, the success of the Bret Hart angle has led Vince McMahon to reach out to another enemy of his, Bill Goldberg, to sign him to some sort of Legends deal. The deal would potentially include using Goldberg's likeness in WWE's video games, a career retrospective DVD, going into the WWE Hall Of Fame next year and maybe even an angle or a match somewhere down the line.
Goldberg left WWE on very bad terms six years ago after creative differences with Vince McMahon and had been very outspoken about his hatred of his time spent working for the company. It probably wouldn't be an understatement that he despised Vince McMahon and HHH. Even less than a year ago, like Bret Hart once felt, Goldberg told TMZ TV that he "wouldn't work for Vince McMahon if he was the last motherfucker on Earth".
So what changed Goldberg's mind about working for the company. Well, give TNA a hand, they screwed up once again, as Goldberg had his nose put out of joint that they never even called him when they started the new Monday Night War. Also he'd love to see the reaction of his son watching him wrestle on a major stage. As Goldberg said on Twitter: "YES.. I am in negotiations with the WWE. Looks like 'ole Hogan and TNA missed the boat. Shame for the fans they didn't even try..Truth is I never thought I'd even consider it........then came my son. No one said I'd wrestle but the door is open again".
