According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bob Sapp has become a huge mainstream star in another Asian country, this time in South Korea. He went over as a wrestler (instead of an MMA fighter or kickboxer), won the local "world title," and became a superstar in the same way he did in Japan as a star for K-1 and Pride in 2002. He's all over television including being in tons of commercials, and he has a CD of his music coming out, though it's not clear if it's the same one he released in Japan, called "Sapp Time." He's also doing media work in Mongolia to promote him in a similar fashion.
