Everything that you ever wanted to know about Savannah Jack

Savannahjack2_medium

In 1986, Savannah Jack surfaced in Bill Watts' Universal Wrestling Federation as the "procurer" (implied to be a pimp, drug dealer, or both) for General Skandor Akbar's Devastation Incorporated.  He eventually turned babyface, won the UWF TV Title, and became known for having the worst superkick in wrestling history.  Then he disappeared due to what was rumored to be a steroid-related ailment.  He's resurfaced with a profile in the Minneapolis News.  A good article, albeit full of retired wrestler BS, like claims of making $5,000 a week as a rookie for Bill Watts during a period where business was down in a big way and wrestling in front of 60,000 fans at the Superdome (the biggest show ever in the building drew just under half of that and Jack's only actual match there was in front of 3,000 people).
