Vince McMahon on Chris The Babykiller: "You can't deny that he existed."

WWE is releasing a special edition magazine called "The Untold History Of The WWE" featuring a timeline of major events over the course of the company's history, all peppered with comments by Vince McMahon himself.  According to those who have gotten the magazine already, there's an interesting comment by McMahon about Chris Benoit.

Interviewer: What about the Chris Benoit tragedy? We're two years removed - will there ever be a time when we can acknowledge him as part of WWE history?

McMahon: It's not right to pretend he didn't exist. It's one thing to include him as part of a historical perspective, which I believe is OK, and it's another thing to promote him, which is not OK. The situation is very similar to that of O.J. Simpson - despite his controversy, O.J. was still a part of the NFL scene. You can't deny that he existed.

It remains to be seen if this means that the fans who have been complaining about Benoit being edited out of programming on WWE Classics on Demand for the past 2 years will finally get what they've been asking for.
