Quinton Jackson Lands Movie Role in A-Team Revamp

According to The Sun, MMA fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has beaten out a bevy of rappers and ex-athletes to land the coveted role of B.A. Baracus in the new A-Team movie. The original role was memorably filled by Mr.T, whose celebrity from the hit television show helped create the groundswell of publicity that launched the first Wrestlemania. No idea if Quentin will be able to do the same for the UFC, but I will be curious to see the outtakes on the DVD special features.

Rappers THE GAME and 50 CENT had both been in the running for the role, and earlier this week it was rumoured that The Game was actually confirmed as the new BA. However, studio execs finally picked the charasmatic UFC star to star in the film after weeks of auditions.
