Smackdown Spoilers for 8/28: Punk-Hardy Loser Leaves Town in a cage

The hottest rivalry in WWE came to an end at tonight's Smackdown taping in a steel cage, as new World Champ CM Punk met former champ Jeff Hardy in a match in which the loser would have to leave the WWE. Which one of these two men is on his way out of the company? Opens with a C.M. Punk interview noting how he uses no pain killers even after the TLC match. Jeff Hardy came out. Punk challenges him to a loser leaves the WWE match. Teddy Long announces it as the TV main event.

Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth never happened. McIntyre attacked him before the bell and left him laying

Melina tells Maria that in Los Angeles, she saw Dolph with another woman. However, Dolph said it was his sister

Michelle McCool was at ringside on crutches and Melina knocked her out of her chair

Mike Knox was doing an interview when attacked by Finlay

Chris Jericho vs. JTG turned into Jericho & Big Show vs. Cryme Tyme tag match with Jericho & show winning

Rey Mysterio b Kane via DQ for ramming Mysterio into the post. Great Khali attacked Kane while Ziggler attacked the laid out Mysterio

Punk b Jeff Hardy in a cage mach. Great match. As Hardy was doing his farewell speech, Punk attacked him. Show ended with an Undertaker run-in and choke slamming Punk
