Everyone who lives in the Los Angeles area would do well to attend Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's sixth anniversary show on Friday, July 31st in Reseda. While the midwest and east coast indie feds get all the adoration and press, PWG has been putting on the most consistantly impressive events of 2009 once or twice a month. Every single show they've had this year has been at worst "great", and this big anniversary show is no exception. The main event features Chris Hero taking on Joey Ryan for the PWG World Title. If Hero defends successfully, he will break Ryan's record for longest PWG title reign. Check out this hype video by the always-stellar TigerDriver98:
And as an aside: when Colt Cabana was released by WWE, he showed up at a PWG show the next night. Brian Kendrick got released today. Paul London has been at a handful of PWG events this year. Not saying Kendrick's going to be there but uh...I wouldn't miss it just the same. Visit www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com for ticket info, full card after the jump.
While Front Row tickets are sold out, fans wishing to join in the celebration will still have the opportunity to purchase General Admission tickets on the day of the event. Threemendous II takes place this Friday, July 31 at 8PM at American Legion Post #308 (7338 Canby Ave., Reseda, CA 91335), and will feature:
