Well, he could use a moment of goodness after what happened to him on Monday night. So let’s give to him. Today’s subject: R-Truth.
I’ll start. He’s not afraid to have fun at his own expense. I think this video illustrates everything you need to know.
I also enjoyed his “conspiracy theorist” unhinged streak, where all these “Lil’ Jimmies” were out to get him (he was his own worst enemy in the end, but that’s a different matter).
Oh, and I know it’s easy to forget considering where and what R-Truth is, but 15 years ago, he was the NWA heavyweight champion of the world. Granted that title didn’t mean much then (or now for that matter), but he holds the distinction of being one of the few African-Americans in the history of the business that can say they were a world champion. And he did it twice. That’s something to celebrate.
Your turn now. Say something nice about R-Truth.
Got a suggestion for a future “Let’s Say Nice Things About...”? Hit me up on the Twitter gimmick @notoriouseddie. I may not always respond, but I promise I will read it.
