SmackDown Live lost both Alexa Bliss and Mickie James to Monday Night Raw in the “Superstar Shake-Up” this week. To address the division, Commissioner Shane McMahon hit the ring to tell us all about what the future would hold.
He promised to introduce the newest member of the roster but only after bringing out the entire division: Naomi, Becky Lynch, Natalya, and Carmella (noticeably absent: Eva Marie). They did some jawing before finally getting to the good stuff.
Shane promised a second generation superstar, one whose father was one of the greatest of all time.
Tamina Snuka!
McMahon went to leave but stopped himself. “I guess from the sound of it you guys were thinking I was going to say someone else. Perhaps I was.”
THEN, we got Charlotte.

It was weird how they did it. As she was making her entrance, they simply cut away to Sami Zayn backstage before going to commercial break. It felt abrupt, a strange way to kick off Charlotte’s tenure on the blue brand.
Still, she’s here!
