Nia Jax has always had the upper hand on Sasha Banks, namely due to the fact that she always attacks at the right time. That is, while The Boss is injured. That was still kind of the case tonight (Sun., Mar. 5, 2017) when the two met at the Fastlane pay-per-view (PPV) at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The question: Could Sasha finally get one up on Nia?
The answer: Yep!
Sasha's initial strategy, sound in theory, was blitzkrieg. It didn't work, of course, because Jax's size and strength was simply too much for the dainty Banks. Her only hope, it seemed, was to take advantage of positioning and latch onto a submission. She failed at a guillotine, then got thrown off when she had a rear naked choke. Even when she got the Bank Statement, Nia simply stood up to get out of it.
When Jax failed to finish Banks off in a timely fashion, The Boss managed to counter the set up for a Samoan drop into a German suplex rolled over into a pinfall.
And that was enough to get a three count.
She got her ass kicked, hard, but she's your winner.
