They’re still calling it a Fatal 4Way, but per the below announcement from Mike Rome, Raw’s Women’s championship match at this Sunday’s WrestleMania 33 is now something else.
That’s because WWE Fatal 4Ways are traditionally non-elimination, and Bayley’s title defense against Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks & Nia Jax in Orlando this weekend now has an elimination stipulation. But, hey, a week ago this was a Triple Threat until Jax earned her way in by beating Bayley in a no-disqualification match, so... we can debate the rules tonight on Raw, when the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection reunites for a tag match against Nia & Charlotte...

Quibbles about match definition aside (if only WWE had just published a book that might help with this...), the move makes sense, both as a way to differentiate it from SmackDown’s multi-woman championship match, and to create the possibility of some real development in the story of best friends Sasha and Bayley.
What do you make of this change, Cagesiders?
