It's well documented that Batista and Titus O'Neil are great friends. So, naturally, after O'Neil was suspended for 90 days for a jokingly getting physical with Vince McMahon on Raw this week after Daniel Bryan's retirement speech, fans were curious what Batista would have to say about it. One even went so far as to say he should try to do something about it.
His response:
I did something better! I called @TitusONeilWWE and told him to ask to be released. #onelife https://t.co/ileACzeB8j

On Wrestling Observer Live today, Bryan Alvarez noted the word going around is O'Neil was made an example of in a situation where many have been breaking the rules and not acting professionally. This was, simply put, just a bad time and place for Titus to engage in such horseplay.
Still, many believe 90 days is excessive, especially considering the penalty for drug related offenses is less than that.
For what it's worth, O'Neil seems to be taking all this in stride.
