If Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena ever resume their WWE feud, Cena is gonna need some new material. Cause that “you left us for Hollywood” stuff ain’t gonna work any more...
The mainstream star-ification of the 15 time World champ continues a week from tomorrow, as Cena’s been announced as the host of Saturday Night Live on Dec. 10, 2016. This will be his first time as the face that runs that place:

He’ll be joined by musical guest Maren Morris, also a first-timer. Cena doesn’t really have a project to promote, making this an even more impressive “get” for his rapidly accelerating rise as a comedic star.
Maybe he can plug Royal Rumble? If he’ll even be around for WWE’s January pay-per-view (PPV), that is.
