WWE SmackDown comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (Jan. 28, 2016) from Tampa, Florida with a taped show on the USA Network featuring all the continued fallout from the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) that went down this past Sunday night in Orlando, Florida.
Because SmackDown is a taped show, you can simply go read the spoilers to know everything that happens (find them by clicking here). We will provide results below.
You can use this space to discuss all the events as they occur, however, and it's probably going to enhance your viewing experience. In fact, I know it is because we're a lot of fun around here.
Enjoy the show!

Chris here. Let's do this...

WWE Signature and a recap of Royal Rumble and the Fastlane main event announcement.

The New Day come on out to the ring.
Big E says that The Rock should be shamed. After all, The New Day was only trying to remind him that he didn't have what they have, and that would be the Tag Team Title. Instead, The Rock called their horns "llama penises".
The New Day starts talking about doo-doo mouth when The Miz interrupts and sympathizes with The New Day. You see, The Miz does not get upstaged, and he deserves resp....The Usos barge in now.
They say "whoa" a few times before saying words. Some insults go back-and-forth before The New Day figures out that The Usos are outnumbered. However, this is not the case as Titus O'Neil and Dolph Ziggler come down to make the numbers equal.
A brawl ensues until the heels are thrown out of the ring. We go to break....guess what comes from this....

The New Day and The Miz vs The Usos, Titus O'Neil, and Dolph Ziggler
This was a fun yet formulaic tag match. The face team got the win after some Flying Usos led to some face finishers in the ring. The Miz ate Clash of the Titus before eating the pin.

Kalisto vs Neville (United States Championship)
Strap yourselves in.
This was a really fun match that was a reminder of the best of cruiserweight action from back in the day. Kalisto retains the title after hitting Salida Del Sol DURING a deadlift German suplex.
Kalisto def Neville; retains United States Championship
Afterward, Neville and Kalisto shake hands

Chris Jericho comes out for the Highlight Reel.
Jericho recaps the week (lasting 51 minutes in the Royal Rumble, Triple H winning the Rumble, AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho, and Fastlane's main event).
Jericho's guests tonight are two of the men in Fastlane's main event: Dean Ambrose (who comes out with a flower) and Roman Reigns. Brock Lesnar, the third man, would NEVER work a Thursday.
Ambrose says that the flowers are for Jericho's set, and Reigns provides a stool for said flowers. The set looks better already.
Now for business, Jericho talks about Ambrose and Reigns having to face each other for a shot at WrestleMania. Both Ambrose and Reigns say that this match won't cause any animosity between the two before and after the match. During the match, however, all bets are off as both discuss their opposing strategies. Lesnar is then brought up. Ambrose says that he's indestructible against the most destructive force in WWE. In fact, Ambrose has no time to be scared of Lesnar.
Reigns tries to talk sense into Ambrose, saying that facing Lesnar is different than facing any other person in WWE. Ambrose responds by saying that he doesn't have to beat Lesnar; instead, he could just beat Reigns...something that hasn't been done before.
Now The Wyatt Family decides to teleport onstage. Bray Wyatt talks about how his family slayed the beast and other words. Reigns tells The Wyatts to come to the ring, but Wyatt tells Reigns to be patient.
Looks like we're getting a spontaneous match for tonight: Bray Wyatt and two others vs Ambreigns and Jericho.
The apocalypse is upon us...

AJ Styles vs Curtis Axel
Before the match, the Social Outcasts cut a promo against Styles. They also mourn Axel's elimination from the Royal Rumble.
Quick job match that allowed AJ to bring out a bit more of his offense. He gets the win with the Styles Clash.
AJ Styles def Curtis Axel

Charlotte vs Natalya
This one happened. Charlotte took advantage of a Ric Flair distraction to chop-block Natalya's leg and lock in the Figure Eight.
Charlotte def Natalya
Afterward, Charlotte locks in the Figure Four again until Becky Lynch makes the save.

Another Goldust and R-Truth segment...this time Goldust tries to recruit R-Truth for a tag partner (GOLDEN TRUTH). Goldy stretches too much and gets stuck, and Truth won't help him.

The Wyatt Family vs Ambreigns and Chris Jericho
This was a decent one that started to pick up as it drew to a close. As Roman Reigns was getting ready to finish Luke Harper, Braun Strowman pulled Reigns off a pin, causing a DQ.
Ambreigns and Chris Jericho def The Wyatt Family by DQ
Afterward, The Wyatts work over Reigns until Big Show comes out to make the save and goes face-to-face with Strowman before he is beat down. Despite this, the faces come back, clean house, and stand tall to end.
