WWE released the above video providing an update on Seth Rollins' recovery from the major knee injury he suffered in a match with Kane at a house show in Europe. The transcription of what he says in the video:
"The progress I've made so far is pretty good. The rehab is starting to get a little tedious as far as the day-to-day repetition of everything and the slow progression but every day is getting better. I can see myself doing things in the afternoon, even, that I couldn't do in the morning sometimes. The sessions are actually really brutal, the therapy sessions are really brutal, a lot worse than I expected them to be. I'm just getting around trying to live a normal life, even a sedentary life that I'm not used to. It's really frustrating for me sometimes, it's just not... it's a complete 180 from the life I lived before. I have great surgeons, I have great people here taking care of me. I know we're doing all the right things to make sure my recovery is fast and I can get back in the ring as soon as possible to take my title back."
And the doctor:
"Seth Rollins sustained an ACL injury as well as injury to his MCL and meniscus. A lot of times ACL injuries are isolated or there may be a small meniscal injury but the fact that he completely tore his medial collateral legitimate, as well as his ACL, really lends a more complex type of surgery and a little bit longer rehabilitation. Seth, at his time frame right now, comes in twice a day, which most people find hard to believe. Each session lasts about two-and-a-half hours, so he's actually rehabbing five hours a day. He's very motivated, he wants to get back as fast as possible. He's really ahead of the course, what most people and even professional athletes have. We expect a full recovery and we expect him to be even better than before."
He can't return soon enough.
