With rumors flying around about the partnership between WWE and ESPN growing after Jonathan Coachman teased as much on Twitter, it was announced last night that current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be appearing on Sportscenter later on tonight.
Now, reports are coming out on what the exact nature of the partnership will be, as well as what to expect from Rollins this evening.
According to PW Insider, we can expect Sportscenter to introduce a weekly segment recapping everything that's happened over the past seven days in WWE. It's safe to assume that would involve guest appearance from performers in the company.
Meanwhile, the Wrestling Observer is reporting that an announcement will be made on WrestleMania 32 tonight, likely that ESPN will have a major presence with in-depth coverage of the big show. It's likely that's part of why Rollins will be in studio as opposed to working the SmackDown taping at the same time in Cincinnati. (Update: PW Insider is reporting Rollins is backstage at the SmackDown taping, meaning his segment will be via video.)
Excited for all this?
