Kevin Nash blows up on Roddy Piper on Twitter

Slow news day!

Not long ago, Roddy Piper joined the likes of Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, and Jim Ross in offering a podcast via the folks at Podcast One. And because he's "Hot Rod", it didn't take long for him to tell a story that pissed someone off.

Here's his story:

In the video, Piper reveals he and Nash got into it backstage. There was a tag team match in the WCW days with a list of players that Piper believes includes Nash, Scott Hall, X-Pac, and maybe Ric Flair, and maybe somebody else. They ended up backstage and Piper was pissed off. Nash barges in and asks if Piper thinks he's "running things here". At this point, Piper says he "got up, charged him, leg dived him, and threw him out of my dressing room". He goes on to say that Nash claimed he punched him but that never happened. Instead, apparently, Nash just said "I'll see you in Moline" because they were getting ready to run a pay-per-view (PPV) in Moline where they were scheduled to have a tag match together.

This eventually made its way to Nash and he absolutely blew up on Twitter:

After all that, Piper finally responded.

Because I've embedded so many tweets here already, I won't include X-Pac weighing in on the situation. Instead, simply click here to go read his timeline. He largely backs up what Nash says.

Based on what they're saying about a tag match in Moline (which just so happens to be the city where I'm from), this would have happened in 1997, when WCW held The Great American Bash at The Mark of the Quad Cities (now known as the iWireless Center but it's still The Mark to locals).

You can also find plenty of rumors around the Internet, most of which back up what Nash says.

We now eagerly await Nash appearing on Piper's podcast.
