Last night on NFL Total Access on NFL Network, WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan donned the 12th Man jersey of his beloved Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and sat down to talk about his team and to rank the facial hair of some famous players.
The National Football League is very sensitive about anybody who doesn't have the initials NFL embedded their videos, but you can watch a three minute clip of his appearance on their website here.
WWE has to be thrilled with this appearance for several reasons:
- It featured several mentions of the February 24th launch of their new over-the-top service, WWE Network.
- It prominently featured discussions of Bryan's distinctive appearance and worked in his YES and NO cheers, both of which are central to his gimmick.
- And it featured Bryan cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers' Brett Keisel and saying that Da Beard's beard is what he aspires to when working on his own whiskers.
Okay, that last one probably pleased me a lot more than it did Vince McMahon. But you get the point.

The more that DB gets appearances that would have previously only been offered to John Cena, the greater the likelihood that future "WWE doesn't see money in Daniel Bryan" stories will be storyline driven rather than real explanations for his not getting a certain spot.
How do you think he did? Does this change anyone's opinion of his marketability, or of what you think his WWE ceiling is?
