After it was announced that Ultimate Warrior was coming back to WWE to be inducted into its Hall of Fame class 2014 the night before WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans, it was only a matter of time before the idea of his working one more match was kicked around.
Sure enough, Warrior was asked about one final showcase before officially calling it a career and he responded positively. He's not all gung ho about it necessarily, but he's definitely open to making it happen if the right situation presents itself.
So what would be the right situation or, more accurately, who would be the right opponent?
Jim Ross recently took a question on as much at his website and here was his answer:
"Could be a variety of guys but I'd think that Sandow vs. Warrior would be fun to watch. Whoever it will be, it won't last long or be a diverse, wrestling match. That's not to say that it won't sell PPV's."
I've already suggested that someone low on the totem pole who has backstage heat and has been pissing people off lately would fit the bill nicely. Although, while Ryback fancies himself a technical wrestling god, that match would likely set a new standard for hot garbage.
And so I leave it to you Cagesiders to decide who you believe Warrior should work with, assuming he actually does come back for one more match.
