Total Divas, perhaps unexpectedly, has turned into quite the hit for both the E! channel and WWE. Featuring a look into the lives of seven current Divas, including the Bella Twins, Natalya, and the Funkadactyls, among others, the show has been a ratings success.
On top of that, it might actually be changing the perception of women in WWE.
That's the talking point the Bella Twins and Natalya were hammering during a recent interview with Larry King at least:
Here's the text of Nikki's response:
"I definitely think ('Total Divas' is changing the way Divas are perceived in WWE). I think people actually now really see that WWE Divas, we are characters. Nikki and I are bad girls on TV but on Total Divas you see how nice we are. And I think that's really refreshing for the WWE Universe because you're like 'they aren't these mean girls, they actually are really girls who care and have big hearts.' And I think that's so important in the world today that all kids do see that in WWE we're characters, these are storylines, these people in real life are good people, and I think that what 'Total Divas' really shows."

Any of you Cagesiders agree that Total Divas is doing wonders for perception of women in WWE? Or is that just a line used to promote the show?
