Zack Ryder's serious new pants part of his "Last Attempt Tour"

via WWE.com

The haircut didn't do the trick. Maybe it's the pants? According to his latest non-televised interview, Ryder is "just trying anything" in his continued push for a push.

We're a few weeks into the new, more serious Zack Ryder that Cageside Seats first told you about earlier this month. Then, an angry Ryder was going to change things up following being jobbed out to Fandango on Smackdown.

He was going to evolve. New haircut. New attitude.

Same results.

Last night on Raw, the artist formerly known as Iced Z did the J - O - B for Ryback.

Well, in a WWE.com Exclusive, Ryder is asked about the latest phase of his evolution: his pants.

Why the change? Hmm? My birthday's coming up and I wanted brand new long tights for my birthday! Wrong! You see, 2011 was the best year of my career - the best year of my life. 2012 sucked, obviously. 2013 is not much better. So, we can call this...how 'bout the Zack Ryder last attempt tour. I'm just trying anything, bro. And the amount of dates on the back of the tour shirt? I guess that's to be determined...one way or another.

I'll be honest, Cagesiders. I'm not even sure what that last part means.

But what do you think? Is this more whining from the internet champion, or are you liking his more serious edge? Will these app and internet promos lead to anything, or is the YouTube sensation just hoping for a Jack Swagger-like disappearance and re-debut?

Or could he be positioning himself for his future endeavors?
