How long is Chris Jericho going to play this game where he leaves and comes back for months and weeks on end? His answer might surprise you. Or not.
In part two of his talk with WWE.com, Chris Jericho spitballs on up-and-coming stars on the roster, what it's like to work as a babyface after so long as a heel, and how long he'll continue to leave and come back, leave and come back, leave and come back.
"It's good to know that the new prospects that are coming in have some experience and have been around a little bit. Obviously The Shield, I was really impressed by them right off the bat. They are three guys who were given a shot and really took the ball and ran with it. Cesaro, I've been a fan of his before he even came here. They've worked around the world and it benefited them when they debuted.
"This is the first time in about 10 years that I've been a good guy, so that makes it a little easier as well because there's never really any down times in a match, and when there is people start chanting 'Y2J.' It's a good feeling for me because it's different. I worked so hard to stay hated for so long and now I can let go and just let people do what they want to do and it's like wow, this can be a lot easier than what I was doing before.
"It might be for a month, it might be for a year, but when I'm here I'm going to give it everything I have to be Y2J and make sure that people have a great time. I can't see why I wouldn't continue to come and go out of the WWE for a long time. Thank you for always welcoming me back. Thank you for cheering when you cheer, thanks for booing when you boo and thanks for showing up. We don't take it for granted and if you get bored, chant 'Y2J,' it would help me out a lot too. It's good for merch."
