Not long ago, former WWE Diva Trish Stratus put up a poll on her website asking fans who they thought should be the one chosen to induct her into the Hall of Fame the night before WrestleMania 29 on Sat., April 6, 2013, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Not surprisingly, Lita was the overwhelming winner of that vote. But is that who the legendary Diva wants to do the honors?
In a recent interview with Ministry of Slam Radio, Stratus revealed the following:
"It's a real honor to be included in this class, the names are just unbelievable, and to be included with them are such an honor. There are only a few women that have ever been inducted into the Hall of Fame and to be included on that list is just so humbling. ... Funnily enough, before I done (sic) this interview, I put a poll on my website, asking who would my fans like to see induct me into the Hall of Fame. Lita won with a landslide, I would say, I can't disagree with that sentiment."
That isn't necessarily a confirmation that Lita will be the one doing the honors but just as soon as Trish was announced for the Hall of Fame on Monday Night Raw a couple weeks ago, the widely held assumption was that we would see the two reunite, if only for one evening.
That will at least give fans a reason to rejoice and remember what the Divas division used to look like, as opposed to the absolute mess that it is today.
