Had I not taken to Twitter to scroll for the latest and greatest news and notes on all things pro wrestling, I wouldn't have even realized or remembered that today is March 16, which is significant to pro wrestling only because it's 3/16.

And no pro wrestling fan who lived through the Attitude Era can see those numbers without thinking of Stone Cold Steve Austin and/or the promo he speaks of in the following video:

Ah, the good old days.

It's well known that I'm a monster mark for "The Texas Rattlesnake" and most of the rest of the Cageside contingent are on board with him as well. Hell, he was voted the Greatest Wrestler of All Time and his WrestleMania 13 encounter with Bret Hart was voted the Greatest Match of All Time. His time with Brian Pillman as the Hollywood Blonds even has him in the Round of 32 in the Greatest Tag Team Tournament, though it doesn't look like he'll make it any further than that (and rightfully so).

Austin had too many memorable moments to tick off, so I'll throw in a few videos of some of his best and you can add yours in the comment section below.
