Every year, WWE makes one or two changes to its pay-per-view (PPV) schedule and this year is no different. Indeed, instead of No Way Out taking the June month, the company will promote a show entitled Payback on June 16, 2013, at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
The company announced as much earlier today on WWE.com, while also noting the tickets on sale date and prices:
With the historic Second City as its backdrop, see just how far Superstars will go at WWE Payback to settle scores and gain retribution against their fiercest foes.
Starting at $25, tickets for WWE Payback go on sale Saturday, March 23, at 12 p.m. CT. Tickets will be available at the Allstate Arena box office, all Ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.com, or you can charge by phone by calling 1-800-745-3000.
At least it doesn't appear to be a gimmick show, although "Payback" could mean they could go the route of an entire event booked around rematches, which is something they've already done once before.
Either way, it's something new.
