Want more proof Cagesiders that Ric Flair is the dirtiest divorcer in the game?
Well, before his fourth divorce with the "barbarous, cruel and vicious alcoholic" Jacqueline Beems has even been finalised, he's already filmed an episode of ABC's Celebrity Wife Swap with his current girlfriend Wendy Barlow, who some of you may remember as his 1993 WCW valet Fifi The Maid.
That's quite the public middle finger to his estranged wife and probably shows his intention of tying the knot again as soon as he's legally able to do so. However, the appearance on the show while his divorce is still ongoing doesn't gel well with Flair's denials of adultery during his most recent marriage. Once again, it's not the smartest of PR moves by "The Nature Boy", but he can't afford to be picky with what seems to be his ever growing debt problems.
The cherry on the top of this ice cream sundae scoop is that Flair swapped wives with his good friend and in ring rival "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Given their reputations as partying playboys in their younger days (well, Ric still is), I doubt this is the first time they've shared the same women together. It'll be just like the old days in the Carolinas!
For those that aren't familiar with the series, Wife Swap was a reality TV show that originated in the UK in 2003, which has since had spinoffs in numerous other countries including the United States, where couples swapped wives for two weeks. During the first week, the new wife has to abide by the rules and lifestyle of the woman she's replacing, while the week after they're allowed to do what they want. Then you have the fireworks from the two couples reuniting and all meeting together for the very first time.
What can I say, we're a nation of swingers in my home country!
Flair and Piper aren't the first wrestling legends to appear on the show, as Mick Foley appeared on the first series of Celebrity Wife Swap USA in 2012 with his complete opposite, handsome and suave actor Antonio Sabàto, Jr. For your viewing pleasure, Cagesiders, a YouTube video of that episode can be seen below:
Hopefully we'll have a review of Flair and Piper's fun with their opposite other halves when the episode airs on ABC later this year, Cagesiders.
