The Undertaker made a surprise appearance at a WWE house show tonight (Feb. 23, 2013) in Waco, Texas, and, perhaps more shocking, WWE has released the video for his entrance.
As we here at Cageside Seats have just reported to you, The Undertaker has made a shocking appearance at a WWE house show tonight (Feb. 23, 2013) in Waco, Texas. Usually, this is the type of info that finds its own way onto the internet, and WWE seems to pretend no one knows what it going on, turning a blind eye, if we are lucky.
It looks like this time is a bit different, however.
WWE's official YouTube channel has uploaded a video of The Undertaker's entrance. It's only 47-seconds long, and simply contains his music hitting and him walking out from behind the curtain, but it's still an admission that Taker has officially returned to action.
Which is surprising as all hell.
Is this a sign of how WWE will be conducting future business? Will the promotion no longer rely on swerves and surprises to draw interest? Is kayfabe truly dead?
Or did WWE just know that this was going to get out instantly, and wanted in on those hits? Regardless of the motivations, we are excited to share this footage with you above. Check it out and let us know how you feel about it, Cagesiders? Does this get you amped up for more Taker?
UPDATE:
The above video has since been transferred to WWE's TOUT and Twitter:
