It's official!

At a special press conference held today (Mon., Feb. 18, 2013) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, WWE officially announced that WrestleMania 30 -- dubbed XXX, if you can believe it -- will be held on Sun., April 6, 2014, at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

"Let the good times roll," Vince McMahon proclaimed.

This was rumored for some time and while it appeared Madison Square Garden was briefly in the running due to its storied history with the company and the pro wrestling industry overall, the decision was ultimately made to keep WrestleMania a stadium show.

It is the "Grand Daddy of Them All," after all.

So there you have it, Cagesiders. WrestleMania is headed for "The Big Easy" and it should be a big one. The Rock has already committed to working the show, Brock Lesnar's new contract means he will be there, and Undertaker may very well wrestle his last ever match at the event.
