Chris Jericho returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble match tonight (Jan. 27, 2013) in Phoenix, Arizona, as the big surprise entrant at number two.
BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!
We knew there would be surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble match at tonight's (Sun., Jan. 27, 2013) big pay-per-view event at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona, but we didn't know who all would show up to the party to try to earn their shot at a WWE championship at WrestleMania 29.
We didn't have to wait long to get the first one -- Chris Jericho.
Indeed, Dolph Ziggler chose to enter at number one and he was joined by Jericho at number two, getting a massive pop from fans in the arena. This was a really well kept secret and there's no telling if this is a one-off appearance for the typical Rumble surprise pop or if he's re-signed with the company for WrestleMania season but it made for a great moment at tonight's show.
