Later on this evening (Jan. 27, 2013), Ryback will enter the Royal Rumble match at the pay-per-view (PPV) of the same name at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. His goal for that match?
Break Kane's record for most eliminations in a single outing.
"That's definitely one of my goals going into this. 11 is something that's very attainable to me so 12 or more is what I'm going for."
As for his career exploding last year and how the future looks, "Big Hungry" has a positive outlook on what's next:
"2012 was an amazing year. I don't think anybody except for myself expected me to be where I am right now. I jumped into the main event scene. I've had a thorn in my side by the name of The Shield and Brad Maddox, some things that have kind of allowed me not to win the WWE title yet but I like to keep a positive mindset and when I do win the WWE title, it will be the right time. But yeah, things are... I'm going one at a time and trying to do my best every day. We haven't even started yet."
