The Rock is going to be a really busy man early next year.
In addition to all his various Hollywood obligations, promoting his upcoming films and what not, "The Great One" is penciled in for no less than six dates with WWE in the month of January. That includes the Jan. 22 SmackDown tapings in Sacramento, California, where he is now being advertised for the Sleep Train Arena.
That represents the go home show to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) on Jan. 27 where he will be challenging CM Punk for the WWE championship.
Rock's WWE schedule now looks like this:
Jan. 7: Raw in Tampa
Jan. 8: SmackDown in Miami
Jan. 21: Raw in San Jose
Jan. 22: SmackDown in Sacramento
Jan. 27: Royal Rumble in Phoenix
Jan. 28: Raw in Las Vegas
He's also advertised for the Elimination Chamber PPV on Feb. 17 and the next night's episode of Raw in Lafayette. Keep in mind, this is all that's confirmed so far and he could very well be added to more shows going forward.
All in anticipation of yet another big WrestleMania match, probably against John Cena.
Everybody happy?
