We knew it was coming based on local advertisements running nearly a week ago but WWE made it officially official during tonight's (Nov. 26, 2012) episode of Monday Night Raw.
WWE Champion CM Punk will defend his title against Ryback in a tables, ladders, and chairs match at the TLC pay-per-view (PPV) on Sun., Dec. 16, 2012, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
I would expect this match to close the show, although it's possible WWE decides John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler is more important.
That match was booked after Ryback took the ring and said he wasn't leaving until he got what he wanted, which was this exact scenario. Vickie Guerrero gave him his way because she wanted the show to go on.
I guess all WWE superstars now know how to get what they want, right?
Here's the updated TLC match card:
- CM Punk vs. Ryback
- Big Show vs. Sheamus
