WWE SmackDown Spoilers for Jan. 10, 2014: Best in the world ... or The Shield

WWE hit Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to tape "SmackDown" last night (Jan. 7, 2014), and we've got complete spoilers for the show, featuring all the continued build to the "Royal Rumble" pay-per-view scheduled for later this month in Pittsburgh.

WWE SmackDown returns to SyFy this coming Friday night (Jan. 10, 2014) from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but the show was taped, as usual, on Tuesday night. That means full spoilers are readily available if you're the impatient type who doesn't want to wait a couple days for the payoff.

Unwrap that present early:

- The Usos vs. The Wyatt Family (Erick Rowan and Luker Harper) went do a double count out when Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt interfered and laid out Jimmy and Jey. The reaction for Bryan? Not good.

- Randy Orton cuts a promo. His main point? That come Raw next Monday night he'll once again demand that Stephanie McMahon go back on her announcement of his having to wrestle John Cena for the WWE world heavyweight championship at Royal Rumble.

- Miz TV featured Big Show explaining why he went after Brock Lesnar on Raw. He ends up challenging "The Beast" to a match and Paul Heyman, sans Lesnar, shows up to accept that challenge.

- Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara & Los Matadores def. Real Americans & Rybaxel in eight-man tag team action. A good match. For those wondering, Mysterio pinned Swagger for the finish.

- Randy Orton def. Big E. Langston in a champion vs. champion match. Langston looked good, apparently, but Orton went over clean with the RKO. As if there was ever going to be any other outcome.

- A Wyatt Family promo to hype the match with The Usos next Monday night on Raw with Bryan teaming up with Bray for the first time.

- Xavier Woods def. Fandango with a roll up. This match was set up on Main Event.

- The Shield promo features Roman Reigns now claiming he's the best in the world after he defeated CM Punk on Raw this week. Oh and Dean Ambrose is still having nightmares after his encounter with Damien. This leads to a match between The Shield and Punk teaming with the New Age Outlaws. The heels go over with Reigns scoring the pin off the spear on Billy Gunn.

That's the show, Cagesiders. Your thoughts?
