WWE SmackDown results and live blog for March 15

Complete results and a running live blog for tonight's (March 15, 2013) episode of WWE 'SmackDown' from Fort Wayne, Indiana; featuring the continued build to "WrestleMania 29" and a better glimpse at the line up for the undercard. If you want to see The Shield, don't miss this one.

WWE SmackDown comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (March 15, 2013) from Fort Wayne, IN, with a taped show on the SyFy channel; featuring the continuing feud between World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio and #1 Contender Jack Swagger, The Shield, Sheamus, Big Show, Ryback, Mark Henry, and MORE!

Sheamus and Randy Orton out to the ring. We're going to start tonight with a tag team match!

Rhodes Scholars with a pair of mics as they walk down to the ring.

Sandow: "Silence!"

Sandow calls what happened last Monday a professional and managerial abomination. Not only were their sure fire victory over the New Age Outlaws taken away, and not only was their post match endeavor with the Bella Twins postponed, but they were put in a match they were not prepared for against Orton and Sheamus.

Sandow's uncle told him a story once...

Cody interrupts him

Cody: "You don't deserve the story!"

Cody says it's simple. They ruined their date and their night.

So Him and Sandow will ruin theirs.

Randy Orton & Sheamus vs. Team Rhodes Scholars

Cody and Sheamus starting things off. Side headlock takedown from Sheamus, who follows it up with a shoulder tackle.

Cody fights back, unloading punches and kicks. He goes for the post to post whip, but it's reversed. Cody bounces off the corner and manages to make it to his corner for the tag.

Sandow charges and goes for a kick to the midsection, but it's caught and he's sent flying to the mat.

Sheamus picks him up and sends him face first into the turn buckle. He continues his assult with forearms until the ref finally pulls him off.

Sandow using the opportunity to take control with some well placed stomps. He goes for a whip, but it's reversed by Sheamus.

Sheamus follows with a shoulder tackle, and a pair of double axe handles. He goes for White Noise, but Sandow wiggles out of it.

Sandow tangled in the ropes....

Here comes the Irish Hand Grenades!

Cody comes help, but he pays the price.

Sandow pulls Sheamus out of the ring. Sheamus continues his punishment...

But here comes Cody from out of no where with a Beautiful Disaster Kick!

We come back from commercial with Cody getting a near fall.

Sheamus is tied up in the ropes while Cody goes to town.

Tag to Sandow, who continues up the offense.

Shmeaus manages to fight back with a few headbutts.

Sandow dives to his corner, and Cody dives into the ring to keep Sheamus from tagging Orton.

Another quick tag, and the heels continue to control this match.

Sheamus starts to fight back, but Sandow keeps him down in the corner with a well placed kick to the midsection.

Ref finally pulls Sandow off. Sandow attempts to charge...

And eats a boot to the face.

Sheamus skins the cat to the top rope...

And knocks Sandow down with a battering ram!

Both men down. They are crawling...

Orton with the hot tag! Cody with the hot tag! Everyone gets a hot tag!

Orton goes into this Vintage Orton combo, complete with second rope DDT.

Sandow comes flying in to push Orton, but Sheamus is right there with a Brogue Kick.

An RKO later, and Orton and Sheamus are your winners.


At least they waited till after the match?

The trio's beautiful mugs appear on the Titantron. They say that the ring Orton and Sheamus are standing in is theres. They have taken care of everyone.

Even The Rock and John Cena.

Somehow, even after The Shield took them out like roadkill, they are main eventing WrestleMania 29.

Yet The Shield is left without a match.

So they are going to take care of this right now. The Shield challenge Orton, Sheamus, and a third partner to a match at WrestleMania.

Orton and Sheamus agree.

And it's official!

Backstage with Orton and Sheamus when The Big Show walks up. It seems that he wants to be their tag team partner against The Shield. He says that they need someone who is brutal, vicious, that bulldoze anything in front of him.

They need a destroyer.

Orton agrees.

Which is why they picked Ryback.

/spit take

Show is not pleased.


Kaitlyn & Layla vs. Tamina & Arksana

Layla and Tamina starting things off.

And Tamina sends Layla flying across the ring.

Layla a few awkward kicks before Tamina against sends her flying.

Face first into the turnbuckle Layla go. The heels back a few quick tags to keep up the offense.

Aksana finally in for extended about of time, and she is extending Layla's back.

Cover attempt gets one.

Whip to the post, followed by Arksana sexy crawl.

Taimina tagged in. She hits the suplex.

Only gets a two count.

Layla tries to fight back, but eats a knee to the get.

Whip to the corner. Tamina tries to follow, but Layla gets out of the way. She rolls up Tamina.

Kickout at two.

Kaitlyn gets the hot tag! Arksana gets the hot tag! Everyone gets a hot tag!

Kaitlyn laying Arksana out!

Neckbreaker only gets a two count.

Kaitlyn ventures too close to the ropes, though, and Tamina knocks Kaitlyn on the back of the head.

Kailyn sends Arksana flying into the ropes, knocking Tamina off.

A huge spear by Kaitlyn!

And Layla tags herself in!

Lots of Love by Layla, and that gets the three count.


Backstage with Naomi, Cameron, and the Bella Twins. Naomi and Cameron are very excited to meet the Bella Twins!

Bellas are not impressed. They call the girls "hoochie mammas" before attacking.

That wasn't very nice!

Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler

Kane with the early onslaught. Ziggler tries to crawl away, but this just leads to more punishment. Kane is simply not letting up for a second. He sends Ziggler flying across the ring, then follows it with a whip.

He tries to follow, but Ziggler gets the shoulder up.

Kane comes back with a huge right.

Ziggler runs around the ring, trying to find an opening. Kane follows. Ziggler rolls back in. Kane follows.

Kane continues his assault with a huge boot and body slam.

Ziggler starts to fight back with a few rights. Kane sends him over the top rope, but Ziggler lands on the apron. To the top rope we go...

And Ziggler connects with a beautiful dropkick!

Only good for two.

Ziggler finally getting his offense. He lands a few punches before dropping the elbow.

Only gets two.

To the headlock we go. Kane is able to make it to his feet...

And sends Zigler flying.

Kane charges, but Ziggler drops the toe hold. Kane lands face first into the turnbuckle.

Ziggler follows with a delayed DDT.

Only good for two.

Ziggler goes for a few more punches to the dome. Kane manages land the big boot.

Delayed suplex by Kane, followed by a dropkick.

Only gets a two count.

Whip to the corner and a splash. Kane repeats. He goes for the sidewalk slam...

Ziggler reverses into a sleeper!

Kane goes back first into the corner, knocking Ziggler off.

To the top rope Ziggler goes...

Right into an uppercut from Kane.

Only good for two.

To the top rope Kane goes...

And he hits the flying clothesline!

He's calling for the chokeslam!

But AJ jumps on the apron to distract him!

And Big E sends Bryan into the time keeper's area!

Kane comes out give him the big boot!

Back into the ring Kane goes...

Ziggler with the Famasser! Then with the Zig Zag!

Ziggler gets the three count! He's your winner!

Kane manages to get his hand around Ziggler's throat!

But here comes Big E to lay him out!

"Zeb" says that there are foreigners out there who sneak in here and take our jobs.

Yes, Canadians may look like you and me, but you should not be fooled. They salute a different flag, and play sports on ice.

They are sneaking a substance over the border.

That's right. Next time you are eating pancakes, you need to think about how you are destroying America.

In the lockerroom with Jericho and R-Truth

Jericho: "Wigs are always funny."

Swagger and Zeb walk up, not amused. Swagger tells Jericho that he is fighting for the soul of this country, and it's not a laughing matter.

Unlike Jericho, who snuck across the boarder from Canada.

Jericho says that he has more important things to worry about, like their match tonight.

So Swagger should "Shut. The hell. Up!."

Fandango vs. The Great Khali

Fandango tells Khali and Natylia that their dance was unacceptable.

He asks Khali to pronounce his name.

This ends exactly how you expect.

Fandango tries to walk him through it, but it's just not happening.

Matt Striker, Sheamus, and Orton. Sheamus and Orton say that the odds are finally in their favor.

Cue The Shield flying in to lay them out.

Orton goes face first into a metal gate.

Sheamus back first into the wall.

We come back from commercial with Booker T explaining to Ryback what just happened.


Mark Henry vs Ryback

The two big men lock up. Neither is able to gain an advantage


And here comes The Shield down through the audience.

The Shield charge into the ring.

Ryback is able to fight them off! He sends them flying over the ropes.

Ryback stars down Henry, wanting to fight the big man.

But here comes The Shield again! This time they will not be denied!

A triple powerbomb later, and The Shield stand strong.

And here comes Henry to pick up the pieces!

Jack Swagger vs. Chris Jericho

A "Y2J" chant breaks out.

Both men circle and lock up. Swagger walks Jericho back into the corner before the ref breaks them up.

Circling and locking up again. Swagger with the rear hold, before Jericho counters into his own.

Jericho ends up with a side headlock, but Swagger walks him to the corner. He then unloads with a heavy right.

Swagger lands a few more, before Jericho fights back with his own flurry of punches.

Up and over the ropes Swagger goes. He catches himself on the apron.

But Swagger launches himself off the turnbuckle to deliver a drop kick. Swagger goes flying into the barricade.

We come back from commercial with Swagger dominating. He steps on Jericho's stomach while screaming "We the People!"

He locks in the nelson, but Jericho fights him off with a suplex.

But Swagger comes right back with a nasty clothesline.

Only good for two.

Swagger with the front head lock. Jericho slowly makes his way to a standing base, and fight Swagger off with a chop.

Swagger fight back with a high elbow and a few heavy rights.

Off the ropes Jericho goes, and he hits the shoulder tackle. He gets another before making his way to the top rope and landing the flyin clothesline. Bulldog from Jericho. He luanches himself for the Lionsault...

Misses the mark.

Swagger goes for the Swagger Bomb...

Jericho gets the foot up.

Jericho tries to flip Swagger for the Walls of Jericho, but Swagger fights him off.

Jericho right there with an enziguri.

Only good for two.

Jericho tries to whip Swagger post to post, but it's reversed.

Swagger follows with a chop block. He gets the Patriot Lock in!

Jericho is able to slip his foot through.

Jericho gets the roll up!

Only gets two.

Spinbuster from Swagger.

Only good for two.

We come back from commercial with Swagger hitting a clothesline.

Jericho manages to hit a DDT out of no where!

Only gets a two count.

Swagger is up and sends Jericho flying. He goes for the gut wrench powerbomb...

Jericho tries to reverse into the Walls...

Swagger reverses into the Patriot Lock!

Jericho rolls through! He gets the Walls of Jericho locked in!

Swagger manages to crawl to the ropes while Zeb chills on the apron.

Jericho yells at Zeb before landing a baseball slide on Swagger. He then sends Swagger into the steel steps.

Back into the ring we go. Up to the top rope...

Lateral press from Jericho!

Swagger kicks out at two and a half!

Jericho tries to continue the offense, but Swagger grabs the tights and sends Jericho into the bottom turnbuckle.

Swagger charges, but Jericho rolls out of the way.

Jericho goes for the Codebreaker, but Swagger catches him and tosses him into the corner.

Gutwrench Powerbomb from Swagger, and that gets the three count.

Fade to black on Swagger pointing to the WrestleMania 29 sign.
